Why Life Force Therapies Was Created
Introduction to the Company
Life Force Therapies offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy designed to enhance the healing process. Neurological injuries can be devastating for both the individual and their families. The road to recovery can be long and very hard. We know.
A beloved member of our own family suffered a traumatic neurological injury. We searched for the best and most innovative care, and discovered hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We offer this unique and warm environment to the community for all those families who face a similar challenge. Families dealing with these unique challenges deserve an environment conducive to serenity, tranquility and healing.
History of the Company
Life Force Therapies was conceived out of a tragedy that affected the Williams family. On April 11, 2000, Sharon V. Williams, wife of James E. Williams, founder suffered an anoxic neurological injury following a successful surgery. It was later determined that morphine administration in the recovery room resulted in respiratory and subsequent cardiac arrest. By the time Sharon was discovered and resuscitated the lack of oxygen to her brain had caused extensive damage.
The establishment of our clinic in 2005 was a labor of love established to assist Sharon’s recovery and out of her concern for the well-being of others. Life Force Therapies opened its doors to the community in January 2006. We were the first and original “stand-alone” clinic in Minnesota to specialize in the neurological applications of hyperbaric oxygenation and the potentially recoverable brain, stroke recovery, coma, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, anoxic encephalopathy and multiple sclerosis patients.
The vision for Life Force Therapies existence is to be a place of serenity, innovation, one conducive for tranquility and healing. Sharon’s passion and love for the needs of others require us to “manifest” that value by extending this beneficial therapy to all those in such desperate need. It is absolutely paramount that we put our patients and their family members first and foremost in our dealings at all times. The tranquil and serene surroundings we intend to establish at our clinic must be maintained and enhanced by all of our employees at all times.
Since our opening in 2006, we have experienced slow but persistent growth. The awareness and results demonstrated from hyperbaric oxygen therapy for conditions as autism, traumatic brain injury and stroke recovery have led us to current record year capacity. There are many new and exciting opportunities for expanding our services, which we anticipate in the future.
